Manage business records
Keep the people and institutions used by journals accurate and easy to find.
Maintain shared records
Libro keeps Customers, Suppliers, Banks, and Members as reusable business records. Create a record before entering its first transaction, or add it from the relevant workflow when that option is available.

Use names that match source documents. Add contact, tax, bank, and address information only when it supports the bookkeeping workflow. Search the list before creating a new record to avoid duplicates and fragmented ledgers.
Understand each record
- Customers connect sales and collections to a customer ledger.
- Suppliers connect purchases and payments to a supplier ledger.
- Banks identify financial institutions and the accounts used for cash activity.
- Members represent people associated with the business. Workspace access is managed separately under company members and roles.
Before deactivating or replacing a record, review its ledger and open activity. Historical transactions retain their recorded context.
